Hello! We’re excited to announce OEC’s Early Start CT Chronicles! Every other week, we’ll share best practices, helpful resources, answers to your questions and more. We’ll be sure to save each message to our Early Start CT website, so you can easily find past ones.

Each ESCT Chronicles includes

• Spotlight: Something we’re excited to share with you all, whether that’s a best practice from somewhere across the state or a new general policy.
• Early Start CT Shoutout: Celebrations or wins, like a successful community event or a provider going above and beyond, submitted by you all that we’ll include! Send your wins to us at Oec.statefunded@ct.gov with subject line “Early Start CT Shoutout”.
• Your questions, answered: A space for us to answer your most important questions about Early Start CT
• Resources & Recaps: Links to helpful resources, like OEC’s vendor forms or a summary of the Early Childhood Education Endowment
• Upcoming Events: A list of upcoming events you may want to know about, like this week’s Attendance & Reimbursement training or next week’s Data & Reporting training.

We also want to take time to shout out the incredible work you all have done and are continuing as early childhood educators and leaders in Connecticut. Early Start CT is truly historic legislation that lays the foundation for a more accessible and sustainable early childhood system.
